MANILA, Philippines — It will be a rainy weekend over parts of the country due to a low-pressure area (LPA) monitored off Quezon.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Saervices Administration (PAGASA) said the LPA was monitored 125 kilometers east-northeast of Infanta, Quezon as of 3 p.m. yesterday.
PAGASA said the LPA is not likely to develop into a tropical cyclone.
The LPA and southwest monsoon may bring scattered rains over Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, the Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao and Zamboanga peninsula.
Monsoon and localized thunderstorms will bring isolated rains over the rest of Mindanao
